Rallying “Two Integrations, Five Cities and Four Leaps” to Jointly Build a “Happy Lotus City”

The 2025 Xuchang Entrepreneurs Association Annual Meeting Successfully Held On February 13, the 2025 Xuchang Entrepreneurs Association Annual Conference was held at Xuchang Airport. More than 200 entrepreneur representatives, industry experts and distinguished guests from various sectors across the city gathered to review development achievements and outline a new industrial blueprint under the theme of “Innovation, Integration and Win-Win.”
Sun Weidong, Deputy Secretary of Weidu District, Xuchang City, and Wan Yinghao, Deputy Director of the Xuchang Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, attended the event and delivered keynote speeches. Zhang Jiantao, Chief Financial Officer of the Xuchang Entrepreneurs Association, presented the Association’s annual financial report. More than ten media outlets, including Xuchang Daily, Xuchang Financial Media and South African Diplomatic Society news, covered the event through platforms such as Douyin, Xiaohongshu and short-video channels.
Drawing the Blueprint
In her opening address, Huang Yuxia, Secretary-General of the Xuchang Entrepreneurs Association, noted that over the past year, despite a complex and challenging economic environment, member enterprises achieved significant breakthroughs in intelligent manufacturing, green and low-carbon development, and digital transformation.
She emphasized that 2025 marks the final year of China’s 14th Five-Year Plan. The Association will focus on cultivating “new quality productive forces,” building platforms that integrate industry, academia, research and application, promoting coordinated development across industrial chains, and supporting Xuchang’s goal of becoming a modern and dynamic economic city
Honoring the Spirit of Endeavor
The annual meeting presented awards including “Outstanding Contribution Enterprise of the Year,” “Pioneer in Industry Communication,” “Model of Dedication,” “Social Responsibility Award,” and “Excellent Enterprise.” A total of 50 member organizations were recognized for outstanding performance in technological innovation, public welfare initiatives and industrial leadership.
Representatives of the award-winning enterprises expressed their commitment to cherishing the honor, continuing to strive for excellence, and contributing to Xuchang’s high-quality development with renewed determination and confidence.
Exploring New Paths for Transformation
During the conference, prominent entrepreneurs engaged in dialogue on key issues such as the upgrading of traditional industries, brand internationalization, and the empowerment of the real economy through artificial intelligence.
The “2025 Xuchang Enterprise Digital Transformation White Paper” was also officially released, providing practical guidance for small and medium-sized enterprises pursuing intelligent transformation.
Participants agreed that amid a new wave of scientific and technological revolution, Xuchang enterprises must accelerate digital adoption, seize opportunities within challenges, and open new pathways for growth in a rapidly changing environment.
Cultural Cohesion
The annual meeting also featured a cultural performance segment. Entrepreneurs themselves wrote and performed a series of programs, including the dance “We Are All Dream Chasers,” the sketch “Entrepreneurial Spirit in Lotus City,” “Love Porridge House,” the song “Like,” and a five-person chorus of “I Love You China.”
These performances vividly reflected the entrepreneurial spirit of the new era — daring to lead, serving the nation through industry, and embracing innovation. The enthusiastic applause throughout the venue highlighted the vibrant and united atmosphere of Xuchang’s business community.
Building a Shared Circle of Development
During the dinner networking session, new and longstanding members engaged in discussions on collaboration, with several companies reaching preliminary strategic cooperation agreements on site.
The Secretary-General stated that the Association will continue to optimize its service system, serving as a “bridge of understanding” between government and enterprises and as a “booster” for industrial growth. The Association aims to unite and guide enterprises in contributing wisdom and strength toward advancing Chinese-style modernization in Xuchang.
Through keynote reports, achievement exhibitions and project signings, the annual meeting comprehensively demonstrated the responsibility and dynamism of Xuchang entrepreneurs in this new era. Standing at a fresh starting point in 2025, Xuchang’s business leaders are setting sail toward a new chapter of high-quality development.
