His Excellency Mr. Thorbjørn Gaustadsæther Norwegian Ambassador presents credentials in The Maidives

The newy appointed Ambassador said that there is scope for further development of Maldives-Norway bilateral relationship.

Speaking at the meeting, the Norwegian Ambassador expressed his hopes to further develop the existing bilateral relationship between both countries during his tenure.

President Yameen congratulated the new Ambassador on the commencement of his term and discussed areas to be further explored in order to enhance the good working relationship between the Maldives and Norway.

The President was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon. Dunya Maumoon and Under Secretary at the President’s Office Mr. Mohamed Naseer.
