The Five 'R's of BRICS
The Renminbi, Rupee, Rouble, Real and Rand are the currencies of China, India, Russia, Brazil and South Africa respectively that make up the fast emerging economies of the world known as BRICS. At the 4th Summit of these nations held in New Delhi, India in March 2012, the setting up of a Development Bank and the potential of a BRICS currency as an alternative to the Euro and the US Dollar were key issues discussed. Jamaica High Commission SA hosts Football Clinics
The Jamaican High Commission in collaboration with African World Football and the Atlanta Youth Soccer Association hosted three Football Development Clinics from 2-5 April 2012, at two Primary Schools in Mpumalanga and a High School in Soweto, South Africa.
