Huge vertical farm complexes – many stories high, meat, synthesized in huge factories, all in direct neighborhood to the huge megapolises where also big production plants produce any product to support our lives.
Due to artificial intelligence, AI, experts believe that production will return to the places where consumers live, the so-called developed countries, since it no longer requires an expensive workforce. This will have a huge impact on our environment and very well shake up lesser developed countries but also the logistics industry.
Large vessels or cargo planes carrying giant amounts of goods all around the globe and polluting our atmosphere could soon be a memory from the past. Also, a likely scenario is that millions of workers in lesser developed countries (and not only there) will lose their jobs.

 At a ceremony to hand over names of Russians who lost their lives in the pursuit of freedom for South Africa, Ambassador of Russia, HE Mikhael Ivanovich Petrakov said that he was impressed by Freedom Park. It is here that the lives of people who fought for non racialism, peace and justice are celebrated.
Ambassador Petrakov handed over 67 names which will be inscribed into the Wall of Names at Freedom Park as part of the 120,000 people honoured for their sacrifice.
Jane Mufamadi, CEO of Freedom Park said that the contributions of Russia assisted South Africa in its liberation and in the emancipation of the African voice.
In the global arena South Africa and Russia are part of BRICS, an association of five major national economies: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
In 1963 JB Marks and Moses Kotane left South Africa for Russia to lobby the international community to support the fight against Apartheid. And as Apartheid’s repressive laws intensified, both died in the 1970s and were buried in Moscow.

New Bulgarian University (NBU) is one of Bulgaria’s top-ranked universities at the heart of Bulgaria’s capital, Sofia. This month Global Editor for The Diplomatic Society, Srimal Fernando was pleased to interview Dr Kiril Avramov, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Research at the New Bulgarian University. Previously Dr Avramov was the Director of the international consultancy and research institute “Political Capital” in Bulgaria and later at their headquarters in Budapest, Hungary. He was a former Fulbright Senior Visiting Research Scholar at the The Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies (CREEES) at the University of Austin in Texas (U.S.). Dr Avramov’s main research interests are concentrated in the areas of political elites, political economy, political extremism, electoral systems and political communication. Srimal Fernando (SF): Let’s start with some background on yourself and your role at the New Bulgarian University?
Dr Kirill Avramov (KA): I am and currently wearing “two hats„ simultaneously, namely an academic and an administrative one, as I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the Department of Political Science at the New Bulgarian University and an acting Vice-Rector of New Bulgarian University for International Affairs and Research. In addition to these, I am an active teacher and a researcher with keen interest in political risk, risk management, political radicalization and populism, as well as national security and intelligence topics.
