Dances of the Kingdom

 
Both H.E Mr. Voradet Viravakin, Ambassador of Thailand to South Africa and Ambassador Anil Sooklal of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation were confident that the current political situation in Thailand will be resolved in due course and the country returned to normality. They were speaking at the cultural showcase of Thai culture to commemorate two decades of a free South Africa.

 

Cuba and South Africa strengthen ties

 
As part of his visit to South Africa to attend the Inauguration Ceremony of re-elected President Jacob Zuma, Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa visited the historic monument complex, Freedom Park. After paying tribute to the more than 2000 Cubans who have fallen in Africa, Valdés Mesa recalled that this year Cuba and South Africa are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
 
 
 

Mambo and Salsa Fiesta

 
 
The Embassy of Colombia in South Africa hosted Orquesta La-33, a Salsa band from Bogota at the University of Pretoria. True to their claim, 'they made even the stiffest set of hips move'.
