 IDSA donates to Ububele

On 24 April members of the International Diplomatic Spouses Association of South Africa (IDSA) visited Ububele to offer the organisation their continued support. IDSA has been supporting Ububele for a few years now according to Bevelyn Adeyemi Yusuf, President of IDSA and spouse to the Nigerian High Commissioner. The Ububele Educational & Psychotherapy Trust, which was established in 1999, is a mental health training institute based on the edge of Alexandra Township, a densely populated, largely impoverished settlement in the north of Johannesburg.

Gondwana Dawn
The Indian Cultural Centre in Johannesburg organised the pre-release of World launch of the Gondwana Dawn music album, jointly conceptualised by Robin Hogarth, a double Grammy award winning producer, composer, and specialist in African music; and Sumitra Guha, an internationally acclaimed Indian Classical musician and Padma Shri award winner (one of the highest Indian civil awards for Art); who is also a member of the Grammy Academy. Gondwana Dawn is an Africa/India based musical creative project that has already had major impact within India and South Africa, and on the lives of people and children involved in the project.    Read More

DRC - The heart of Africa
Speaking at the Ekurhuleni Captains of Industry Forum (COIF), Minister for Trade and Development for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) enlightened the over 100 Captains of industry and business people gathered, about the extraordinary opportunities available in his country. The DRC is strategically located in the heart of Africa bordering nine countries and is the second largest country in Africa. Endowed with precious resources and minerals, water, hydro energy and vast tracks of arable agricultural land the DRC is in the process of rebuilding its economy. Read More
