4IR training in the pipeline for rural schools

The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), has been quite topical in recent years and is perceived as the dawn of a new era of innovation in technology that will unlock new market opportunities.
Zine Nkukhwana a 4IR expert is determined that this training must reach rural schools. Zine Nkukhwana will be conducting training of schools in 4IR in the Mpondo Kingdom.
This is followed by the discussions she had with Princess Stella Sigcau II who has been actively promoting literacy and the culture of reading at schools in the Mpondo Kingdom through Khuthaza Ukufunda initiative and has donated books and sanitary towels to various schools in the Mpondo Kingdom.
Nkukhwana will be training 4IR to grade 11s and 12s commencing with Mncwadi SSS in Mbizana, Ntsikayezwe SSS and Dumezweni SSS in Ntabankulu during the month of April which is the month that South Africa commemorates and celebrates the day freedom was attained. Central to the struggle was also equal access to quality education. This training seeks to also contribute in this regard to empowering rural schools to catch up with the world that is constantly redefining itself and its technologies.
Zine Nkukhwana who holds several leadership positions in various organizations including being the National Deputy President of Progressive Blacks in Information and Communication Technology, Chairperson of Marketing and Communications Committee of the African Tourism Board, former CEO of the South African Women in ICT Forum, will also be meeting Nkosi Jongilanga Sigcau, who is the Chairperson of the Alfred Nzo Local House of Traditional Leaders to discuss the potential training of the Alfred Nzo Traditional Leaders in 4IR.
Zine Nkukhwana was also a guest speaker during the Gender Based Violence (GBV) program that Princess Stella Sigcau II coordinated at Ntsikayezwe SSS in commemoration of Human Rights Day who spoke on the importance of empowerment in the fight against GBV including on skills training. Other speakers included Nkosi Jongilanga Sigcau and Josina Machel who is the founder of Kuhluka Movement. Presenting on GBV included representatives from Social Development, Police and Child Life who addressed the issues of child abuse and psychological impact, rape, GBV in relations to boys as victims and as perpetrators, teenage pregnancy, ukuthwala, bullying including cyber bullying. Princess Stella Sigcau also donated books and sanitary towels to Ntsikayezwe SSS.
