Pakistan HC assured cooperation from SA Home Affairs

The South African Home Affairs Department will extend every possible assistance to the Pakistan High Commission in addressing all legal and legitimate issues facing the Pakistani Community residing in South Africa. This was agreed upon during a detailed meeting held between South Africa’s Deputy Minister of Home Department H.E Ms. Fatima Chohan and the High Commissioner of Pakistan to South Africa, H.E Najm us Saqib in Pretoria.
During the meeting, the High Commissioner explained in detail, the issues facing the Pakistani Community based in South Africa especially with regard to safety, security and wellbeing of his fellow Pakistanis. In response, the Deputy Minister assured the High Commissioner of any and all possible assistance and future cooperation in this regard as it was a “common objective for both the countries”. Both the dignitaries expressed satisfaction over the steady pace of strengthening of relations between Pakistan and South Africa in diverse fields.  
Deputy Minister Fatima Chohan, who has recently visited Pakistan, expressed hope that close and continual cooperation between her Department and the High Commission would produce desired results in addressing all legitimate concerns of Pakistan community members. The High Commissioner expressed deep gratitude to the Government of South Africa for looking after the interests of his fellow Pakistanis and assured the Deputy Minister of Pakistan High Commission’s continued full support and cooperation in this regard.
