The Mahumani Multi - Culture Celebration is an initiative spearheaded by Hosi A.K. Mahumani (Adv) and is aimed at promoting cultural diversity, human rights culture and social cohesion through inter-cultural activities including music, dance, poetry, arts and crafts exhibition and traditional games.

The 2012 theme for the celebration is “Culture and livelihoods, a modern socio-economic story”. This theme challenges local people whose lifestyles are largely influenced by their beliefs, tradition and indigenous norms and values, to begin to recognize the economic benefits that are presented by the very environment they live in, the resources they take for granted and the forgotten practices of the their ancestors.

Everybody including the media is welcome to come and partake in the cultural activities awaiting participants of this event on Saturday says “His Majesty Hosi A.K Mahumani”.

Through this media statement, His majesty, Hosi A.K Mahumani is also calling for moral and financial support and partnerships to make this and other programmes in his communities a success.
