South Africa and Thailand - Boosting Trade and Investment

H.E Ambassador Ruby Marks pays courtesy call on Thai Minister of Commerce, Mr. BoonsongTeriyapirom
 



On 10 May 2012, South African Ambassador to Thailand Robina Patricia Marks paid a courtesy call on the Thai Minister of Commerce, Mr. BoonsongTeriyapirom.

The objective of the courtesy call was for H.E. Ambassador Marks to introduce herself to the Thai Minister and to begin to identify areas of cooperation and explore mutual investment opportunities between the two countries.
During the meeting Ambassador Marks and Minister Teriyapirom discussed at length ways of boosting trade and economic investment and increasing the market share of national goods and services. It was also agreed that there is a need to raise the level of engagement between the two countries.
