South Africa’s Joburg Ballet and China’s Liaoning Ballet sign Memorandum of Understanding

The South African ballet company, Joburg Ballet, and the Liaoning Ballet of China signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the end of the season of Swan Lake that showcased the two companies in Johannesburg and Bloemfontein in April and May.

Supported by South Africa's Department of Arts and Culture and China's Ministry of Culture, the partnership between the two ballet companies aims to establish long-term co-operation on co-productions, exchanges of casts and the sharing of expertise in ballet training.
