Europe and Africa are neighbours. 14.3km is the width between Point Marroqui in Spain and Point Cires in Morocco separated by The Strait of Gibraltar which is 58km long. This geographical physical proximity is connected to a historic ancestry of ancient times going back to a palaeontological age.
